The tech world’s response to the news that Google is building a giant headquarters in a futuristic version of Paris has been to call it “Project Bordeaux.”
That’s because that’s what it will look like.
The company is building what’s described as a giant office complex in the city’s iconic Place Vendôme district.
It will include a hotel, a gym, offices, restaurants, and more, according to a report in Recode.
The site is being developed by a private firm called Triton Group, which has been working with Google on the project.
It’s unclear if Google will use the name Bordeau.
It’s a bit of a stretch, as Bordeaus is an acronym for “Boulevard de Bordeux,” and the company is currently known as Google.
But the company isn’t the only tech company looking to modernize its offices.
Last month, the company announced plans to make its office space into a fully autonomous work environment.
