More than 200,000 people have registered for the upcoming Italy-China China Architectural Competition, the largest such event in the world, which is expected to attract the largest number of entries.
The event, held this week at the National Convention Centre in Tokyo, will take place from Friday through Monday, with entries judged by a panel of experts from the world’s largest architecture schools.
More than 100 international students are expected to participate.
The winners will compete in an open competition, which takes place next year in Melbourne.
The winner will be announced in April, with the winners announced in November.
The competition is being held as part of the National Design Forum in Australia, the annual exhibition that aims to showcase emerging designers and their work.
The event, which features over 30,000 entries, is one of the largest architecture competitions in the country.
